I’m a visual storyteller based in Rotorua, New Zealand, creating illustrations in pen and ink, watercolour, and narrative-rich oil paintings. I also run creative workshops that invite people to explore their own imagination, paint murals that weave stories into public and private spaces, and take on personalised commissions full of character and meaning. To make art more accessible, payment plans are available for all my work — because everyone deserves a little everyday magic on their walls.
My art is often described as whimsical and wistful, mischievous and magical. Embracing the circus that is life, I shine a light on our beautifully messy mistakes and imperfections — believing that our vulnerabilities can become our superpowers, and that at the heart of everything, there is love.
“We who make stories know that we tell lies for a living. But they are good lies that say true things, and we owe it to our readers to build them as best we can. Because somewhere out there is someone who needs that story.”
